Problem
The Boulder Rotary Club in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA, has run its radio auction as a community fundraiser since 1986, with items donated by local businesses. The club already had a website, but the auction side of it needed work: the plugin that runs the bidding had to be set up correctly and kept working through each auction.
Strategy
Work with the site the club already had rather than replace it, and concentrate on the part that actually carries the fundraiser — the auction system itself — so the club's volunteers are not left troubleshooting bidding software.
Implementation
WiTEDS updated the club's existing website and took on its auction plugin: configuring it, fixing the problems that came up with it, and keeping the numbered lots, categories, closing times and bidder accounts working through the auction.

WordPress with WooCommerce, an auction extension for lots and bidding, and member accounts for bidders.
Business result
The club runs its fundraiser through a working online auction, with donated items listed as lots and bids taken online, without its volunteers having to maintain the auction software themselves.
